Exactly 50 years since The Monkees debuted on American television, the band's golden anniversary celebration continues to gain momentum, fuelled by the critical and commercial success of new album Good Times! — the band's first new studio release in 20 years.

Forever is a 14-track compilation that spotlights the group's biggest hits, as well as "She Makes Me Laugh" from Good Times!.

Forever features hits including "Last Train To Clarksville," "I'm A Believer" and "Daydream Believer," "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone," "A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You," "Words" and "Valleri."

The Monkees have amassed a dozen Top 40 hits, including a trio of tunes that soared to #1. Between September 1966 and December 1967, Last Train To Clarksville, I'm A Believer and Daydream Believer collectively occupied the US number one for 12 weeks. Sales of their LPs were more phenomenal still: The Monkees occupied the US number one position for 13 consecutive weeks and More Of The Monkees for 18 weeks. The band sold 16 million albums and 7.5 million singles in less than three years years.
